Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical care, with experience in various healthcare settings. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Up to $15.00 Per hour-Based on Experience

Duties

  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects.
  • Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
  • Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
  • Document daily activities and report any changes in health or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed, including those from medical-surgical, clinic, emergency medicine, PICU, hospital medicine, OR, and level II trauma centers.
  • Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an In Home Caregiver or in a related healthcare field is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Knowledge of medical-surgical practices and familiarity with emergency medicine protocols is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in various settings such as hospitals or teaching hospitals.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
